UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd. participated in the 24th TIB PITCH held at Tokyo Innovation Base and has been selected to exhibit at the limited-time store “TIB SHOP.”
TIB SHOP is a project operated within Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), a startup support hub promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The initiative provides startups with consumer-oriented products an opportunity to conduct test marketing and promotional activities.
At this TIB PITCH event, our CEO, Masatsuna Ogi, delivered a presentation introducing the next-generation tumbler “Kaffy Pita Cup,” manufactured using “AirX COFFEE,” a sustainable upcycled material made from recycled coffee grounds.
“Kaffy Pita Cup” is an eco-friendly tumbler created by reusing discarded coffee grounds. The product features a unique anti-tip suction structure along with excellent heat and cold retention performance. Combining environmental sustainability with practical functionality, the product has been gaining adoption not only in Japan but also internationally.
In addition, AirX COFFEE utilizes a biocomposite material containing up to 51% recycled coffee grounds, contributing to reductions in plastic usage and CO2 emissions.
UPCYCLE Technologies will continue to develop products utilizing resource-circulation technologies and strive toward the realization of a more sustainable society.
